Hosta - Pineapple Poll
The Hosta 'Pineapple Poll' exhibits intriguingly twisted and undulating leaves with an upright habit. The dark green leaves are heavily rippled and have good slug resistance. Leaves are 10" long x 4" wide. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known only for their flowers. With a plant height of 19" and a spread of 40-50”, this Hosta provides bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. The Hardy Tall Phlox Starburst, 'Phlox paniculata', exhibits large flower heads with soft pink flowers that have a delicate greenish edge. It is very unusual and decorative, does best in full sun, and great for a cut flower. The flowers are fragrant and showy, with brilliant non-fading colors. Growing 2-3' tall, they are excellent for perennial borders, corners and for cut flowers. The foliage is dense and compact with deep green, lance-shaped leaves with prominent veins. Butterflies love them! Plant about 18-20" apart in rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade.
